NOTIFICATION SYSTEMS
The North Collins Central School District uses School Messenger for communicating school delays or closings. In addition, we use District operated social media (Facebook and Twitter) located on the top right corner of every page of our website. You are also able to access school closings and cancellations through the following media outlets and their websites:

Parents and staff are reminded that you must sign up with School Messenger to receive text alerts or phone messages regarding school closing. If you have not signed up to receive School Messenger calls or you wish to change, delete, or add phone numbers to your list, please contact the Main Office of the school your child attends.

In the event of a delay instead of a closing, you will find the one-hour and two-hour delay schedules at a link at the bottom of this page.
WHEN WE RETURN TO SCHOOL
The day after a school closing, the school day number (Day 1 or 2 at the High School; Days 1-6 at the Elementary) will resume as if there were no snow day. For example, if we close on a Tuesday that is supposed to be a Day 1, and are back in session on Wednesday, that Wednesday would be a Day 1.
